Personalized Care Plans
PLAN MANAGEMENT
What is Plan Management?
Plan Management is a financial service that helps National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Participants manage their NDIS funding. A Plan Manager takes care of financial tasks such as paying invoices, tracking budgets, and providing financial reports, making it easier for Participants to use their funds effectively.
What Does a Plan Manager Do?
- Pays provider invoices on behalf of Participants.
- Keeps track of the Participants' NDIS budget, financial reports, and spending.
- Provides financial reports and statements for transparency.
- Gives advice on how to maximize NDIS funds.
Why Choose Plan Management?
- Participants can use both registered and non-registered providers.
- No need to handle paperwork or financial administration.
- More control and flexibility compared to NDIA-managed plans.
- Funded by the NDIS—there is no cost to Participants.
Plan Management is one of the three ways to manage an NDIS plan, alongside self management and NDIA (agency) management.
Initial
Assessment
Customized
Plan
An initial assessment helps understand the client’s financial circumstances, goals, and preferences. This step ensures that the support provided is tailored to individual needs. Based on the assessment, a customized plan is developed to address specific financial requirements. This plan may include any combination of the services offered.
